About Me

I’ve had an affinity for writing since elementary school. In middle school, I discovered an interest in poetry, and in high school, I found myself more drawn to creative writing. Though my creative endeavors are far from over, I’ve also become interested in technical writing and the assembling of publications since arriving at Shippensburg University.

In addition to being an English Writing major, I’m also a Technical/Professional Communications minor, and the office assistant for the minor. With this position, I’ve been granted the opportunity to create newsletters and fliers, experiment with various forms of media including the content management system (CMS), and work with a unique group of professors and students working to improve the minor.

When I’m not studying, I’m incredibly involved in both Shippensburg’s student theatre company and the undergraduate literary magazine, The Reflector. I have held a variety of leadership positions in both of these organizations and am excited to see what the future holds for me with both of these student groups.

Outside of college, I work a part-time job at a library and am looking to begin publishing content with a new platform.

Post-graduation, I’m hoping to enter the publishing & editing field, either as a technical writer or a copywriter. I’m ambitious with a passion for perfection; I am always willing to think outside the box and go above and beyond for success.

My name is Casey Leming, I am the worst at titling my writing, and I hope you enjoy my portfolio!
